Sixth Form Open Evening
Thursday 1st October 2026 – 5pm
We are delighted to invite prospective students and their families to our Sixth Form Open Evening, where you can find out more about life at George Spencer Academy Sixth Form and the exciting opportunities available after GCSEs.
The evening will begin with a welcome presentation at 5:00pm in the Sports Hall, where you will hear from our Sixth Form Leadership Team about our vision, values and what makes studying at GSA Sixth Form a rewarding and successful experience.
Following the presentation, you will have the opportunity to explore our dedicated Sixth Form facilities and speak with subject teachers about the wide range of A Level and Level 3 courses on offer. You can discover more about our curriculum, enrichment programme, leadership opportunities, university and apprenticeship pathways, and the personalised careers guidance and pastoral support available to every student.
Current Sixth Form students will also be on hand throughout the evening to share their experiences of studying at GSA, giving you the chance to ask questions and hear first-hand about student life, enrichment activities and the transition from Year 11 to Sixth Form.
For those who are unable to attend the first presentation, a second welcome presentation will begin at 6:00pm, after which you will have the same opportunity to explore the Sixth Form and speak with staff and students.
