Google Classroom

At George Spencer Academy, we use Google Classroom to share notices, resources and online homework with students to support the learning that takes place in school.

Every student has a school Google account which allows them to complete pieces of work online, and also store their digital data in one location.

Once logged in to Google Classroom, students will see a row of tiles which represent each classroom they have access to. If it is the first time a student has logged in, or they have been informed there is a new classroom they need to join, they should either accept the invitations to join the classrooms displayed on screen or enter the class code provided by their teacher.

It is possible to receive weekly or daily summaries for your child across all their google classes. To enable this we will add your email address to your child’s account, which will trigger an invitation email to you. You must accept this invitation to receive the guardian summary emails. If you have not received an invite please check your junk mail folder or search for an email from no-reply@classroom.google.com
